Collection: Bororo
Bororo
Akiko Akachi of Bororo is a self-described traveling jeweler. She explores the globe, often traveling deep into rural areas and mines, to source all the stones used in her collection. With simple designs and minimal processing, Akiko brings out the natural beauty of her stones — showcasing just how beautifully they’ve been crafted by Mother Nature. Her less-is-more process at Bororo is perfected by Japanese crafting and sculpting techniques, such as dozuri.
We hope you can vicariously experience the joy of Akiko’s globetrotting adventures through her one-of-a-kind Bororo pieces.
