My baby's Kedamadama! 

Have you heard of うちの子のけだまだま (“UCHINOKO NO KEDAMADAMA”), the most adorable pet fur container handmade with love in Japan? We are extremely excited and honored to host their first show in San Francisco! The pop-up will last for a month, or while supplies last. We are so excited to have Kedamadama in the States for the first time!

Shipping for all Kedamadama items will be domestic only with a fixed priced ($25) Fedex 2 days service (items will be shipped within 5 business days). “UCHINOKO NO KEDAMADAMA (Kedamadama)” was born from one artist’s deep love for their pet. Wanting to stay close even when apart, they started carrying the cat’s fur with them while working or traveling. They tried all sorts of containers—lockets, Ziplock bags—but nothing felt quite right. The look and feel just didn’t capture the warmth of their bond.

One day, they came across a cat-shaped glass ornament at home, and it sparked an amazing idea. Glass was too fragile, so they experimented with acrylic instead. The result was something beautiful, meaningful, and durable.

To the artist’s surprise, many other pet lovers felt the same way. So they started making more pieces to share with others—and that’s how Kedamadama began to touch hearts far and wide.

While the Kedamadama Studio has a signature style, every piece is handmade with care and intention. Small details—like the placement of the eyes, the angle of the whiskers, or the color of the fur—are lovingly adjusted to make each creation truly one-of-a-kind.
